The Trust is externally managed by Acrophyte Hospitality Trust Management Pte. Ltd (“REIT Manager”) and Acrophyte Hospitality Business Trust Management Pte. Ltd. (“Trustee Manager”), collectively the Managers.
The REIT Manager has general powers of management over the assets of A-H-REIT. The REIT Manager's main responsibility is to manage A-H-REIT's assets and liabilities for the benefit of the holders of A-H-REIT Units. The REIT Manager will set the strategic direction of A-H-REIT and give recommendations to the REIT Trustee on the acquisition, divestment, development and/or enhancement of the assets of A-H-REIT in accordance with its stated investment strategy.
The REIT Manager has been issued a capital markets services licence for REIT management (the "CMS Licence") pursuant to the SFA on 2 May 2019 and is regulated by the MAS.
The Trustee-Manager has the dual responsibilities of safeguarding the interests of the holders of A-H-BT Units, and managing the business conducted by A-H-BT. The Trustee-Manager has general powers of management over the business and assets of A- H-BT and its main responsibility is to manage A- H-BT's assets and liabilities for the benefit of the holders of A- H-BT Units.
